Details

These spikes were recovered with the rail and tie plate during a public works project in Myersville around the site of the H&F Freight Station, now the Myersville Memorial Park.

Both spikes are 5.5″ length spikes in contrast to the 6″ spikes used more frequently on modern railroads.
