The third car purchased by the Frederick & Middletown Railway, known as “Old Mike” in later years, is said to be the first vehicle to pull freight over a mountain with electric power. It was originally numbered 1 and later renumbered to 15. The car is seen here in Myersville some time between 1898 and 1905.
